The Dallas Stars face the Seattle Kraken for the second time in three days after the Stars took the first game 4-3 in overtime. The Stars have a 36-17-13 record and with back-to-back wins, they have the best record in the Central Division. The Kraken have a 37-22-7 record and have the third-best record in the Pacific Division. Both teams are looking to secure playoff spots in the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Stars are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.42 goals per game with 14 goals in the last two games. Jason Robertson, Roope Hintz, and Jamie Benn have scored 97 goals and 108 assists to leave the top two lines but the rest of the offenses stepped up as well. Joe Pavelski, Tyler Seguin, and Mason Marchment have combined for 56 goals and 86 assists while defenseman Miro Heiskanen has added 10 goals and 41 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.65 goals per game. Esa Lindell and Jani Hakanpaa have combined for 9.1 defensive point shares and 237 blocked shots while Miro Heiskanen, Colin Miller, and Ryan Suter have combined for 10.2 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Jake Oettinger has been great with a .919 save percentage and a 2.41 goals- against average on 1463 shots with 20.6 goals saved above average.
