Cal State Fullerton vs. UCSB Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-11-2023

We have the finals of the Big West Conference Championship Tournament on Saturday night inside of the Dollar Loan Center in a neutral site game between the fourth-seeded Cal State Fullerton Titans and the second-seeded UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. The Titans are 20-12 (12-6) so far and picked up an 83-80 win in the semifinals of the tournament against the UC Irvine Anteaters on Friday. The Gauchos are an outstanding 26-7 (15-5) and picked up a 92-87 win on Friday in the semifinals against the UC Riverside Highlanders.

The Cal State Fullerton Titans have been scoring at a lower than typical pace offensively throughout the season as they are averaging 69 points while shooting 42.7 percent from the field. They have been passing the ball at a worse rate than they should be this season with 10.4 assists per game so far. Junior guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr has led the way for the Titans as he is averaging 16.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and two turnovers in 33.4 minutes per game.

Their defense has been doing very well as they are allowing 64.4 points per game up to this point. They need to be a little better at forcing mistakes as they are forcing 2.6 blocks and 6.5 steals per game thus far.
