The final week of what has been a terrific 2021-22 PGA Tour season is finally upon us, as East Lake Golf Club will play host to the 2022 Tour Championship for the eighth straight season. Trimming down from the 70 players we saw in last week’s field, only the top 3o players in the FedEx Cup points race remain.
Starting with the #1 player in the world Scottie Scheffler at -10, Patrick Cantlay (#2) will start at -8, Will Zalatoris -7, Xander Schauffele -6, Sam Burns -5, and then groups of players all the way down to even par.
While we had little to no data to go off of last week at the BMW Championship, given its newness to the PGA Tour rotation, this week’s course, the East Lake Golf Club, offers plenty.
