Teams looking to build on their NCAA Tournament resumes meet in the second round of the 2023 Big Ten Tournament on Thursday, when the ninth-seeded Rutgers Scarlet Knights battle the eighth-seeded Michigan Wolverines. The winner will take on top-seeded Purdue. The Scarlet Knights (18-13, 10-10 Big Ten) have struggled of late, losing two in a row and six of eight. The Wolverines (17-14, 11-9), meanwhile, have dropped four of their last seven games. Michigan defeated Rutgers 58-45 in their lone meeting dur ing the regular season.
