On the other side of this matchup is the Pirates who sit with a 47-75 record overall and have lost three games in a row. In two of the last three games, the Pirates have scored only a run, and the offense has been a big issue all season. The Pirates are averaging 3.61 runs per game which is 28th in the league. If the Pirates want any chance in this game, the offense needs to get going.
