The fourth-seeded Northern Kentucky Norse and the third-seeded Cleveland State Vikings will face off in the finals of the Horizon League Tournament on Tuesday evening in a neutral site game. The Norse are 21-12 (14-6) so far and are coming off a 75-63 win on Monday in the semifinals against the Youngstown State Penguins. The Vikings are sitting at 21-12 (14-6) as well as they are coming off a 93-80 win on Monday against the Milwaukee Panthers in the semifinals. These teams split the two games against one another so this will be an interesting game. 

The Northern Kentucky Norse have been doing extremely well and are coming off a 75-63 win against the Youngstown State Penguins in the semifinals. They did well in the first half as they outscored the Penguins 40-25. They shot the ball at a poor level as they were 22-of-59 (37.3 percent) overall, 3-of-17 (17.6 percent) from three, and 38 free-throw attempts. Junior guard Marques Warrick led the team as in 38 minutes he finished with 22 points, one rebound, and one steal. Defensively, they did a great job as they allowed 45.3 percent from the floor and 19 percent from deep here. Northern Kentucky did well as they finished with six steals and two blocks throughout the game after forcing 13 turnovers. 

 

The Northern Kentucky Norse are having a t ough offensive job this season as they are 274th in the nation with 68.2 points per game thus far and shooting a less than ideal 43.2 percent from the floor and are averaging 13.8 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 63.7 points per game, which is 29th in the country. They have been causing issues with 2.5 blocks and 9.3 steals per game thus far.
