Memphis and Los Angeles meet for the third and final time this regular season after splitting their previous two encounters. The Lakers open as slight 2-point home favorites, while the totals are listed at 226.0 points.
The Memphis Grizzlies (38-25; 30-31-2 ATS) started a four-game road trip with a 113-99 victory over the hapless Houston Rockets on the first day of March. Since then, the Grizzlies have dropped two straight contests, losing at the Denver Nuggets 113-97 and Los Angeles Clippers 135-129.
Last Sunday, the Grizzlies blew a 15-point fourth-quarter lead at Crypto.com Arena. They dropped a staggering 50 third-quarter points on the Clippers and still found a way to lose. Also, the Grizzlies made 54.3% of their field goals (18-for-34 from deep) while posting a terrific 32/8 assist-to-turnover ratio. Desmond Bane led Memphis with 30 points and six assists, Tyus Jones had 25 points, 12 dishes, and five steals, while Jaren Jackson Jr. notched up 24 points, five rebounds, and a couple of steals and blocks.
“Give them a lot of credit. They've got two studs over there that made big-time shots,” Memphis coach Taylor Jenkins said. “They picked up their physicality, something we've got to learn from obviously.”

Ja Morant (27.1 PPG, 8.2 APG) sat out the Clippers game and will remain on the shelf Tuesday. He’s under investigation after going live on his Instagram account with a gun in his hand. Brandon Clarke (leg) is done for the season, while Steven Adams (knee) should be back in a week. With Morant on the sidelines, Tyus Jones (9.8 PPG, 4.6 APG) and Desmond Bane (21.5 PPG, 4.1 APG) will drive the Grizzlies’ offense.
