The best matchups of the day, all in one place

The Subway Series is here once again between the New York Mets and New York Yankees, and we have another great matchup between two talented teams. Both the Mets and Yankees have had great seasons up to this point, although the Yankees have been struggling of late. It's been a brutal month for them, and facing the Mets may not be what the doctor ordered. Especially when the guy on the mound for them in this game is one of the greatest pitchers of our generation.

Jacob deGrom (2-1, 2.31 ERA, 0.51 WHIP) takes the hill, and he is a treat to watch, unless your favorite team is facing him. This guy has incredible swing-and-miss stuff, and there has been no team more willing to do just that than the Yankees over the past month of the season. Still, you just cannot expect a team as talented as they are to continue to be this terrible. Against deGrom, however, I don't see it improving quite yet.

Frankie Montas is on the hill for the Yankees, and he was lit up like a Christmas tree in his last start. He's been pretty bad since coming over to New York from Oakland, and the Mets feature a great lineup that can easily get to struggling pitchers.

I'll take the Mets F5 -0.5.
