It’s a first-round matchup on the hardwood as the ACC Tournament gets underway in the Tar Heel State. The 15th-seeded Louisville Cardinals try to extend their season at least one more day as they take on the 10th-seeded Boston College Eagles Tuesday afternoon. Louisville was dumped 75-60 on the road by Virginia in their regular season finale Saturday afternoon, though they did cover the line as an 18.5-point favorite. Boston College was defeated 73-65 at home by Georgia Tech, losing outright as a 4.5-point favorite in their previous game Saturday afternoon. In the all-time series between the programs, the Cardinals own a 10-5 advantage but it was the Eagles taking a 75-65 victory at home in the lone matchup this season January 25.
