The Illinois Fighting Illini and Purdue Boilermakers face off on Sunday in a college basketball showdown at Mackey Arena. When these two teams faced off in February of last year it was Purdue that secured the 84-68 victory.

In the last game against Illinois, Prudue was really tested, but they ended up winning 63-61 over Wisconsin. Purdue is averaging 73.1 points while their defense is giving up 62.2 points per gmae. The offense is ranked 145th while the defense is ranked 21st. Zach Edey has played like the National Play of the Year and they are averaging 22.1 points while shooting 61.6 percent from the field.
