For the first time in a week, the Charleston Cougars (28-3, 17-12-1 ATS, 16-2 CAA) will take the court, this time to take on the Stony Brook Seawolves (11-21, 17-13-1 ATS, 6-12 CAA) in the CAA Tournament. Charleston has no resistance in taking down Stony Brook the only time they met this season, winding up with a 92-52 victory. With the season at stake, this game should end up being more of a fight. Live at 6:00 p.m. EST in Washington D.C.'s Entertainment & Sports Arena, the Charleston Cougars and Stony Brook Seawolves will duke it out to keep their ticket to the Big Dance alive.
Stony Brook took over six minutes to get on the scoreboard, but once they did, they took over. The Seawolves cut an early 14-0 deficit to three points at halftime and then controlled the entire second half. Their defense smothered NC A&T completely in the 76-61 win. Frankie Policelli finished with another double-double, this time with 30 points and 15 rebounds.

The Seawolves' offense only shot 41.1% for the season, a number that ended the year ranked 335th in the nation, but they shot 51.9% on Saturday. They also shot 45.5% from three, much higher than their season average of 32.2%. They were an excellent free-throw shooting team this season, leading the CAA at 74.2%.
Their defense also smothered the Aggies on Saturday, performing much better than usual. The Seawolves held the Aggies to 22.2% from deep and 32.3% from the floor. Opponents this season shot 34.9% from distance and 43.1% from the field against Stony Brook. The Seawolves also forced the fewest turnovers per game among CAA schools.
Stony Brook is now 1-1 in neutral court games this season. They are ranked 332nd nationally per KenPom.
