The William & Mary Tribe (13-19, 11-17-2 ATS, 7-11 CAA) will have a quick turnaround and a tall task, as the Hofstra Pride (23-8, 20-10-0 ATS, 16-2 CAA) are awaiting them in the CAA quarterfinals. Hofstra won the only meeting with the Tribe this season easily, cruising to a 13-point win on the road and beating the spread. That doesn't bode well for William & Mary, as they won't have the benefit of home court this time around. The entire CAA Tournament is being held in the nation's capital, in the Entertainment & Sports Arena, with this game set to kick off Sunday's slate at noon.
William & Mary took a lead early and never looked back, as they never trailed for the entire 40 minutes they played. The win made it three straight for the Tribe, who could be clicking at the perfect time. Miguel Ayesa's 23-point performance led the way as they kept their season alive. They shot 43.8% on threes in the contest.

The Tribe finished the season 323rd in KenPom's rankings. A stretch of games where they lost seven of eight defined their in-conference portion of the schedule, even if they were 6-4 otherwise. However, playing as they did on Saturday this entire tournament can quickly erase all of that.
Their three-point shooting was superb against Elon, as it was all season. The Tribe ended the season ranked 55th in the nation in three-point percentage at 36.8%. Overall, they shot 43.8% from the field. From the charity stripe, they only shot 67.8% this season.
Arguably the Tribe's greatest issue, their defense allowed foes to shoot 46.2% from the field, a rate that was 320th nationally. From deep, their opponents hit 34.2% of their attempts this season. They also block the fewest shots per game in the CA A, 2.0.
