Week 2 of the NFL preseason closes tonight with the Jets hosting the Falcons.
Atlanta is favored across the board entering this game, and having its starting quarterback healthy is likely a big reason why. While Marcus Mariota is healthy and expected to play after starting the Falcons’ preseason opener, we’re not even sure if Zach Wilson will feature in Week 1 of the regular season.
These two head coaches have had differing preseason success levels. While Falcons head coach Arthur Smith lost all three games last preseason and just got his first win, Robert Saleh is yet to taste defeat in games that don’t matter.
Atlanta will likely let Desmond Ridder feature for most of this game, while Joe Flacco and Mike White might be fighting for a start to open the regular season, which Jets fans must love.
