Oklahoma State was beaten 74-68 at home in their previous contest Monday night by #7 Baylor, failing to cover the line as a one-point underdog. Texas Tech fell 67-63 at #3 Kansas in their most recent game Tuesday night, though they did cover the line as an eight-point underdog. In the all-time series between the programs, the Cowboys own a 42-24 advantage and have won five of the last six meetings, including two straight. Oklahoma State suffered their fifth straight loss as they were knocked off by #7 Baylor at home in their previous contest. The Cowboys dropped to 16-14 overall and stand seventh in the Big 12 with a 7-10 mark in conference play on the year. Against Baylor, Oklahoma State trailed by as many as 15 in the first half and cut the deficit to 11 at intermission. The Cowboys were down 16 with 4:01 remaining in the game before rallying to close within four with 37 seconds to play. That was as close as they would get as the Bears managed to hold on for the win. Oklahoma State shot only 39.7% from the field, including nine of 32 from three-point range, and went five of nine at the line compared to Baylor’s 17 of 20. John Michael Wright led the way with 17 points in the loss.

The Cowboys are putting up an average of 69.5 points per game on the offensive end of the floor, putting them 238th in the nation in scoring offense.
