Indiana Pacers vs. San Antonio Spurs Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-2-2023

Indiana will try to build on its two-game winning streak when it travels to San Antonio on Thursday night. The Pacers are playing the third game of a four-game road trip that concludes this weekend. San Antonio snapped a 16-game losing streak with a 102-94 win at Utah on Tuesday night.

Indiana turned heads early in the season when it went 23-18 to open the campaign, but it went ice-cold after that, which was correlated with star guard Tyrese Haliburton going down with an injury. The Pacers lost 16 of their next 18 games, with their two wins during that stretch coming against Chicago and Sacramento. They have won three of their four games since then to get back on track, including a pair of road wins at Orlando and Dallas to open this four-game road trip. Indiana’s lone loss since the All-Star break came in overtime against Boston last Thursday.

The Pacers will wrap up their four-game road trip at Chicago on Sunday afternoon. They are No. 12 in the Eastern Conference standings, sitting two games back of Washington for the final spot in the play-in tournament. Haliburton, who scored 32 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists on Tuesday, is listed as a game-time decision due to a calf injury. He leads an Indiana offense that ranks No. 11, averaging 115.1 points per game. Haliburton is averaging 20.1 points, while Myles Turner is scoring 18.2 points and Buddy Hield is chipping in 17.3 points. They are facing a San Antonio defense that is dead-last in the NBA, allowing 122.4 points per game.
