The 2022 Southern Conference Tournament features Furman and Sanford as the top two seeds. Both receive automatic byes into the quarterfinals, increasing their chances of earning the March Madness bid. The Southern Conference is a smaller conference where the only bid will most likely go to the winner of the conference tournament.
