The Massachusetts Minutemen will play the Duquesne Dukes Wednesday at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Tip-off from Pittsburgh, PA, is at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Dukes are 10.5-point spread favorites and the game total is 148.5 points.

UMass (14-14 SU, 12-16 ATS) was defeated by Dayton last Wednesday. The Minutemen are 1-4 straight-up in their past five and 5-11 in Atlantic 10 Conference competition. Junior forward Matt Cross (12.9 PPG and 6.3 RPG) is out indefinitely with a knee injury he suffered on February 14 and senior guard Noah Fernandes (13.4 PPG and 4.1 APG) is out indefinitely with an ankle injury.

Duquesne (19-10 SU, 16-12-1 ATS) lost to Davidson on Sunday. The Dukes are 3-2 straight-up in their past five and 9-7 in A-10 play.

Massachusetts defeated Duquesne 87-79 on January 28. The Dukes outshot the Minutemen but were outrebounded 47-36, as UMass snagged 16 offensive rebounds. Duquesne committed 29 fouls, leading to 39 Massachusetts free throws.

UMass is 42-28 all-time versus Duquesne.

UMass is fading into the finish, dropping six of its last seven overall with its lone win over 8-20 Rhode Island. Now 14-14 overall, the Minutemen must win out to finish the regular season with a winning record.

UMass lost by 18 at home to Dayton in its last game, shooting only 34.6 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from three. The Flyers shot 50.9 percent overall and 42.1 percent from long range. Freshman guard RJ Luis finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, and two steals for Massachusetts.

The Minutemen score 70.5 points per game (204th) and shoot 42.1 percent from the floor (308th), including 33.9 percent from deep (207th). They convert 71.0 percent of their free-throw attempts (208th) and average 34.5 rebounds (43rd) with a +3.8 rebounding margin. UMass is 238th in schedule-adjusted offensive efficiency, per KenPom.
