Are the Los Angeles Lakers still capable of making the playoffs without LeBron James? Jon Metler shares three of his favorite NBA same-game parlays for Tuesday's games using the latest NBA odds.
With James' ankle injury ruling him out indefinitely for the Lakers, I might have stayed up until three in the morning trying to find inefficiencies in the odds as the sportsbooks scrambled to adjust the lines following this news and the many recent changes in the Lakers lineup.
The good news: I found some errors – and you still have time to take advantage of these prices, especially at FanDuel.

NBA SGP predictions: Lakers vs. Grizzles
Jackson's scored just seven points in his last matchup against the Denver Nuggets, but he only played 20 minutes due to the Grizzlies' blowout victory. Jackson should be well rested and ready to drop a 20-piece on the undermanned Lakers. This prop can be priced at -145 since Jackson is projected to score 17.4 points against the Lakers, which is well above his total of 15.5.
There's no doubt that this is the best prop in this parlay. FanDuel has decided it's smarter than everyone else and is trading the Over 6.5 rebounds at -122 when we BetMGM and DraftKings are tradin g it at -150 and -140, respectively. The difference in pricing is eye-catching – and seeing Jackson projected for 7.5 rebounds rounds out the picture nicely.
This is an Over I would like to include in my parlay because the -104 price point has nice value – but I would also recommend placing a straight bet on this prop at +108 through BetRivers. BetRivers is way off market with this price, and when you consider Vanderbilt's projection, this prop should be trading at -140.
NBA SGP predictions: Pacers vs. Mavericks
The assist prop from Doncic is slowly moving toward the Over across the board, and it's easy to understand why. Tuesday's Pacers-Mavericks tilt has the highest total on the board at 237.5, and Doncic is projected to drop 8.5 assists, so this prop should trade closer to -155 than -122.
Turner gets lost in Rick Carlisle 's rotation sometimes when the Pacers are losing to a team with a smaller lineup. As the Mavericks are favored by 8.5 points, this matchup checks both boxes. I have Turner priced at -120 to go Under the total of 8.5 rebounds, so this bet has a positive expected value of 12%.
NBA SGP predictions: Timberwolves vs. Clippers
New arrival Russell Westbrook has been eating into George's assists and ability to create for his teammates, but on Tuesday, we see a price that is over adjusting for this narrative. Although George is projected to drop 5.1 dimes against the Timberwolves, we're getting a plus money price on the Over. Instead of trading at +112, this prop should be trading at -125.
This prop will be extremely close to the total because Edwards will take so many shots, but I ultimately see it falling Under the total of 28.5 points. There's just not a great deal of of fensive firepower in the Timberwolves lineup at the moment, and the Clippers defense should be able to lock in on Edwards. I have the Under on Edwards points prop priced at -130 based on his projection of 27.4 points.
UCLA just won the Pac-12 regular season title, and I have a bet on the Bruins to win it all at +2000. Since the game will be played in Los Angeles, I feel the need to incorporate UCLA standout Anderson into the parlay. In all seriousness, Anderson has been projected to grab 6.1 rebounds against the Clippers, which means that this prop should be trading closer to -115.
