The 10th-seeded Green Bay Phoenix will travel to the Nutter Center on Monday evening in the first round of the Horizon League Championship to take on the seventh-ranked Wright State Raiders. The Phoenix are a miserable 3-28 (2-18) so far this season and are riding a six-game losing streak after coming off a 78-61 home loss on Saturday against the P urdue Fort Wayne Mastodons. The Raiders are a decent 17-14 (10-10) right now and are coming off an 82-71 road win over the Detroit Mercy Titans on Saturday. Wright State blew out Green Bay in their two games during the regular season.

The Green Bay Phoenix have been awful and are coming off a 78-61 home loss against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons. They were struggling in the second half as they were outscored by the Mastodons 43-32. They shot the ball at a brutal level from three as they were 21-of-57 (36.8 percent) overall, 9-of-33 (27.3 percent) from three, and 14 free-throw attempts. Junior guard Randy Tucker led the team as in 36 minutes he finished with 19 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three turnovers. Defensively, they have to do better as they allowed 50.9 percent from the floor and 38.5 from deep here. Green Bay did a mediocre job as they finished with three steals and blocks throughout the game after forcing 10 turnovers. 

 

The Green Bay Phoen ix are absolutely brutal this season as they are 361st in the nation with 59.4 points per game thus far and shooting a terrible 39.5 percent from the floor and are averaging 11 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 76.5 points per game, which is 334th in the country. They have been struggling to force mistakes with 2.3 blocks and 4.9 steals per game thus far.
