The Minnesota Twins (62-56) will host Texas Rangers (54-66) in the third contest of a four-game series on Sunday. The Twins won the opening game 2-1 on Friday and the Rangers won 4-3 on Saturday in 10 innings.

The Rangers are on their way to another losing season, sitting third in the AL West 22 games behind the Houston Astros and 10.5 games out of a wild card spot.  Texas has won five of its last eight games after Saturday's victory. Nathaniel Lowe went 4 for 5 in the victory. In extra innings, Corey Seager and Mark Mathias both drove in runs with a single. The Rangers went 4 for 14 with runners in scoring position.

On the season, Lowe leads the Rangers with a .294 batting average and 128 hits. Corey Seager leads the team with 26 home runs, and Adolis Garica leads the club with 75 RBI.

Kohei Arihara (0-1, 4.76 ERA) will start for just the second time this season for the Rangers on Sunday. On Tuesday, Arihara allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings in a 5-1 loss to the Oakland A's. As a rookie last year,  Arihara went 2-4 with a 6.64 ERA in 10 starts.
