Texas comes in off a 72-54 home win over #23 Iowa State in their previous game Tuesday night, covering the line as a 7.5-point favorite. Baylor was knocked off 75-65 on the road by #14 Kansas State in their most recent game, losing outright as a two-point favorite Tuesday night. In the all-time series between the teams, the Longhorns own a 95-67 advantage, including a 76-71 home win in the first matchup this season on January 30.

The Longhorns ran their record to 22-6 overall and stand tied for the top spot in the conference with Kansas as both teams are 11-4. Against Iowa State, Texas trailed 10-4 just over four minutes into the game before reeling off 16 unanswered points to take a 20-10 edge. The Longhorns never let the Cyclones closer than six the rest of the way. They were up 18 at the half and led by as many as 20 in the second half en route to the win. Texas shot 47.4% from the field, including 12 of 28 from three-point range, and forced 16 turnovers in the game. Sir’Jabari Rice and Tyrese Hunter each had 15 points to lead the Longhorns in the win.

On the season, Texas has put up an average of 79.4 points per contest, putting them 26th in the nation in scoring offense on the year. The Longhorns are pulling down an average of 34.6 rebounds per game while dishing out an average of 16.3 assists (20th) per contest.
