Louisville vs. Georgia Tech Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-25-2023

The Louisville Cardinals (4-24, 11-16-1 ATS, 12-14 O/U) battle the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11-17, 13-13 ATS, 9-15 O/U) in an ACC clash on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals were clobbered by Duke on Monday night. The Yellow Jackets were dealt a road loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Louisville recorded a 68-58 home win against Georgia Tech earlier this month.

The Louisville Cardinals are seeking just their third conference win of the season. It’s been a disastrous season for the program. They are an abysmal 2-15 in conference play due to horrible defense. Louisville managed to beat Clemson 83-73 on Saturday but was marked as large 17.5-point dogs in a 79-62 road loss to Duke on Monday night. Louisville has been assigned huge spreads and is keeping games within reach, covering the spread in four straight bouts.

El Ellis continues to dazzle, sinking at least 21 points in four consecutive games. The senior guard has connected on at least 50% of his field goals in each game in that span and is sporting an average of 18.1 PPG on the season. Jae’Lyn Withers has only netted a total of 10 points in his last two performances. The junior forward is now averaging 9.4 PPG on 43% shooting. Mike James has recorded double-digits in two of his last three games. The freshman guard is posting an average of 9.4 PPG.

The Cardinals are ranked 273rd in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and have yet to win a game on the road where they are 0-9. Louisville has reached 80 points in two of their last four games and is only averaging 64.4 points on the season, ranking them 338th. They are squandering an average of 75.6 points, placing them 324th.
