Kansas State muscled its way to a victory over number nine Baylor on Tuesday, outscoring the Bears 44-31 in the second period. KSU outshot BU from the field and committed six fewer turnovers. While Baylor only shot 40 percent overall, it stayed in the game with its three-point shooting (11-for-28) and rebounding advantage (35-33, with 11 offensive rebounds). It was too much KSU in the second half, though. Senior forward Keyontae Johnson scored 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting for the home squad.

The Wildcats average 75.4 points per game (94th) and shoot 45.0 percent (168th), including 33.6 percent from three-point range (221st). They hit 74.9 percent of their free-throw attempts (59th) and average 32.4 rebounds (153rd) with a +1.7 rebounding margin. KSU is 58th in schedule-adjusted offensive efficiency, per KenPom.

Kansas State surrenders 68.0 points per game on defense (124th), and its opponents shoot 41.7 percent (68th), including 29.4 percent from three-point distance (14th). The Wildcats are 16th in adjusted defensive efficiency.
