Hampus Lindholm and Matt Grzelcyk have combined for 9.5 defensive point shares while Charlie McAvoy, Brandon Carlo, and Connor Clifton have combined for 10.7 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Linus Ullmark has been great with a .937 save percentage and a 1.88 goals-against average on 1052 shots with 33.6 goals saved above average.
