Colorado State at San Diego State – 2/21/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The San Diego State will host the Colorado State Rams in Mountain West play from the Viejas Arena on the CBSSN. SDSU leads the all-time series, 49-42, after winning four of the last five meetings.

Colorado State moved to 12-15 after defeating Fresno State on the road. The Rams held a slim lead at the break, and they ended up beating the Bulldogs by three, 60-57. Colorado State is scoring 73.4 points per game, while allowing 71.4 ppg, and shooting 49.1% from the floor.

Colorado State has won their last two road games, but they come into an uphill battle here. The Rams are 3-9 in MWC play, with a 7-6 home record. Senior guard Isaiah Stevens has been their most consistent player this season, and after 20-point performances against AFA and USU last week, he leads the Rams in scoring (18.7) and assists (6.7). Fellow veteran guard John Tonje has also posted back-to-back 20-point outings, and he’s averaging career-highs in scoring and rebounding at 13.7 ppg and 4.9 rpg.
