The 2022-23 NHL season goes on with a 13-game Saturday card and brings this Interconference clash from the T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas, Nevada when the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Vegas Golden Knights at 10:30 p.m. ET.
This is the first meeting between these teams this season. The road team won both games last year with Tampa Bay winning in Las Vegas on December 21, 2021, 4-3. The Tampa Bay Lightning fired 47 shots on Connor Ingram but came away empty-handed as they lost to the Arizona Coyotes in a shootout on Wednesday, 1-0. The contest against Vegas is the final of a four-game road trip that has seen Tampa Bay go 2-0-1 through the first three games and they are 14-12-1 on the road this season. The Lightning are in third in the Atlantic, one point behind Toronto for second place.
Brian Elliott was very good for the Lightning, stopping all 26 shots he faced. It will be Andrei Vasilevskiy between the pipes for this game, who has rebounded nicely after giving up seven goals to Florida on February 6. He has allowed four total goals over his last three games. Tampa Bay is 12th in goals against average (2.87).

After producing just 11 points through his first 26 games, Anthony Cirelli has suddenly caught fire, producing six over his last five games. The Lightning have been very good offensively, fifth in goals per game (3.50) and they are fourth on the power-play (25.3%). Tampa Bay went 0-5 on the power play against Arizona.
