Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech Yellow – 2/15/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Virginia Tech Hokies will head down to Atlanta to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in ACC play from the McCamish Pavilion. This will mark the 30th time these two technical schools face off, and Virginia tech holds the all-time series lead, 21-8.

Virginia Tech moved to 15-10 after beating Notre Dame in South Bend. The Hokies led the Irish throughout, and they’d leave with the six-point victory, 93-87. Virginia Tech scores 74.7 points per game, while allowing 66.3 ppg, and shooting 47.5% from the floor.

Virginia Tech has responded to a six-game skid by winning four of their last six games, and they need to capitalize on a struggling Georgia Tech team here. The Hokies are 5-9 in ACC play, with a 1-7 road record. The Hokies are led by the front court pairing of Grant Basile and  Justyn Mutts. Basile has dropped 33 points in back-to-back games and he now leads Tech in scoring (16.3), while grabbing 5.7 rpg. Mutts flirted with a triple-double in the road win over ND, and he’s posting a nice line of 13.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 4.7 apg. Second-year guard Sean Pedulla scored 20 points against UVA, and he’s up to 15.6 ppg.
