The Alabama Crimson Tide (22-3, 15-19-1 ATS, 11-1 O/U) battle the Tennessee Volunteers (19-6, 13-12 ATS, 11-14 O/U) in an SEC showdown on Wednesday night. The Crimson Tide posted a solid road win against Auburn on Saturday. The Volunteers were stunned in a home loss by Missouri in their previous action. These rivals have not met this season and Alabama posted a 73-68 home win in the lone meeting last season.
The Alabama Crimson Tide continues to dazzle. They have won four in a row propelled by stifling defensive play. Brandon Miller is a big difference-maker. The freshman forward has eclipsed 20 points in two of his last four games and steadily collects rebounds. Miller is sporting an average of 18.8 PPG and 8.2 RPG. Mark Spears has recorded at least 13 points in three consecutive bouts. The junior guard netted 15 points last time out and has improved his season average to 14 PPG along with 3.8 RPG. Noah Clowney has connected on at least 50% o f his field goals in four straight games. The freshman forward has logged an average of 9.8 PPG and 8 RPG.

The Crimson Tide are marked 2nd in the country in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and rallied to #1 in this week’s AP Top 25 rankings for the first time this season. Alabama is a dominant 8-1 on the road and has yet to lose a conference road game. They are scoring an average of 83.4 points on the season, ranking them sixth. The Crimson Tide are limiting opponents to 68.7 points, placing them 154th.
