LSU Tigers (12-13) vs. Georgia Bulldogs (15-10)

Week 14 of the 2022-23 college basketball season continues Tuesday, February 14, with the LSU Tigers taking on the Georgia Bulldogs in the Southeastern Conference showdown at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia.  

The Tigers meet the Bulldogs for the first time this season. Georgia opens as a 3.5-point home fave, while the totals are listed at 138.0 points.

The LSU Tigers (12-13; 7-18 ATS; 1-11 conf.) extended their losing streak to 12 games this past Saturday. They suffered a 74-62 home defeat to Texas A&M, trailing the Aggies from start to finish and by as many as 29 points. It was another awful performance from the Tigers, who scored just 17 first-half points and shot 41.5% from the field while posting a 9/12 assist-to-turnover ratio. 

Sophomore guard Adam Miller notched 18 points against Texas A&M. Freshman forward Tyrell Ward had 15 points and three rebounds, while junior guard Cam Hayes tallied nine points and three assists. Senior guard Trae Hannibal (6.9 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 2.5 APG) sat out due to an undisclosed injury and is questionable to play Tuesday against Georgia. 

LSU is sitting bottom of the Southeastern Conference and ranks 146th in the NCAA NET Rankings. KenPom has the Tigers at No. 132, as they score 105.7 points per 100 possessions (165th in the nation) and allow 103.2 points in return (127th). LSU tallies only 59.6 points per game in the conference play (14th in the SEC) on 41.0% shooting from inside the arc (also 14th) and 30.2% from downtown (9th).
