The Air Force Falcons will travel to Logan to take on the Utah State Aggies in Mountain West play from The Glen Smith Spectrum. Utah State leads the head-to-head series, 24-7, after winning six of the last seven matchups.
Air Force moved to 13-13 after defeating New Mexico at home. The Falcons put together their best game of the season, and handed the Lobos a 12-point loss, 89-77. AFA is scoring 67.3 points per game, while allowing 65.2 ppg, and shooting 46.5% from the field.
Air Force may be out of postseason contention, but the home win over a talented New Mexico team should give them something to be proud of. The Falcons are 4-9 in Mountain West play, with a 3-6 road record. Sophomore guard Jake Heidbreser went off for a season-high 26 points in the win over UNM, and he leads the Falcons in scoring at 14.4 ppg. Freshman forward Rytis Petraitis leads AF in rebounding (5.6), while scoring 9.8 ppg.
