The Seattle Kraken face the Winnipeg Jets with both teams looking to build off of strong seasons. The Kraken have a 30-18-5 record and are near the top of the Pacific Division. The Jets have a 33-19-1 record and with back-to-back wins have the second-best record in the Central Division. Yanni Gourde, Daniel Sprong, and Oliver Bjorkstrand have combined for 31 goals and 59 assists while defenseman Vince Dunn has added nine goals and 30 assists from the point to open up the offense.
The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.11 goals per game with nine goals in the last two games. Adam Larsson and Vince Dunn have combined for 7.4 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. Additionally, goaltender Martin Jones has struggled in the net with a .891 save percentage and a 2.92 goals-against average on 948 shots with -13.5 goals sav ed above average.
