The Northeastern Huskies (8-16, 9-15 ATS, 16-8 O/U) battle the Charleston Cougars (24-3, 14-1-1 ATS, 10-16 O/U) in a CAA battle on Monday evening. The Huskies were pelted with a road loss by UNC Wilmington on Saturday. The Cougars pummelled Hampton in their previous action. Charleston posted an 87-61 road victory in the first meeting.
The Northeastern Huskies are looking to end a rough six-game losing streak. Their last win occurred on January 19th in a road decision against Stony Brook. The defense has been exploited in the losing streak. Northeastern was clobbered by 19 points against Hofstra last Thursday and were eight-point dogs in a 71-59 road loss to UNC Wilmington on Saturday to plummet to 4-9 in conference play. They have covered the spread in four of their last five road games.
Jahmyl Telfort has been productive recently, amassing 15 or more points in each of his last five games. The junior guard has surpassed 20 points three times in conference play and has recorded an average of 16.2 PPG. Coleman Stucke has been limited to 13 points in his last two games. The junior forward attempts several threes and is averaging 9.7 PPG on a stellar 42% mark from beyond the arc. Chri s Doherty has scored double-digits in one of his last four clashes. The senior forward has logged an average of 9.4 PPG.

The Huskies are pegged 289th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 3-9 on the road including conference victories against Hampton and Stoney Brook. Northeastern often is not able to generate enough offense to win games and is averaging 65.7 points on the season, marking them 324th. They are conceding an average of 70.7 points, placing them 209th.
