The East Carolina Pirates will travel to Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon in an American Athletic Conference matchup to take on the Tulane Green Wave. The Pirates are 12-12 (3-8) so far this season and are coming off a 77-72 home win last Saturday against the SMU Mustangs. The Green Wave are a great 16-7 (9-3) right now and are riding a four-game winning streak after coming off a 101-94 overtime home win on Tuesday against the Cincinnati Bearcats. These programs will also face off on March 1 in ECU.

The East Carolina Pirates have been decent and are coming off a 77-72 home win against the SMU Mustangs. They did well as they scored 40 points in the second half of the game. They shot the ball at a great level from three as they were 25-of-56 (44.6 percent) overall, 8-of-18 (44.4 percent) from three, and 23 free-throw attempts. Sophomore forward Brandon Johnson led the team as in 36 minutes he finished with 27 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks, and two turnovers. The Pirates did great as they finished with five steals and a pair of blocks throughout the game after forcing 10 turnovers.
