The Nashville Predators enter this one as a winner of three of their last four games. They beat the Kings, Jets, and Devils in a three-game winning streak which ended in a rough 5-1 home loss to the Golden Knights on Tuesday night. The squad is now 5-5 in their last ten games overall and is within reach in the playoff picture, standing only four points out of a playoff spot and has a few games in hand on several teams.
Roman Josi continues to produce, collecting at least one point in four consecutive games. The veteran defenseman is one of the best in the NHL, amassing 42 points and logs a ton of ice time. He was held pointless in the first meeting against the Flyers. Matt Duchene is in a groove, netting four goals in his last four games. The 32-year-old center scored in the loss to the Flyers and has 15 goals and 24 assists on the season. Ryan Johansen only has one point in his last three clashes. The 30-year-old center is having a subpar year, recording 24 points and a minus 13 rating.

The Predators continue to opt for Juuse Saros in most games. The veteran netminder was in the net in Tuesday’s loss. He has been one of the best goalies in the league, recording a 2.78 GAA and a .918 save % accompanied by a 19-14-5 record. Nashville is scoring an average of only 2.8 goals, pegging them 26th. They are conceding an average of 2.9 goals, placing them 13th in the league.
