A pair of teams from the Pac-12 take the floor looking to earn an important win in the Pacific Northwest. The #7 UCLA Bruins are on the road as they travel to face the Oregon Ducks Saturday night. UCLA was in action on the road Thursday night as they took on Oregon State, earning a 62-47 victory, covering the line as a 14.5-point favorite. Oregon hosted USC at home Thursday night in their previous contest and rolled to a 78-60 win to cover the line as a five-point favorite. In the all-time series between the schools, the Bruins own a 91-39 advantage. That includes a 65-56 home victory in the first meeting on this season on December 4, 2022, snapping Oregon’s four-game win streak in the series.

UCLA saw their defense step up as they went on the road at Oregon State to earn a third straight victory. The Bruins improved to 20-4 overall and stand 11-2 in the Pac-12, leaving them half a game ahead of Arizona for the top spot in the conference. Against Oregon State, UCLA led by two with 6:29 to play in the first half before finishing the half on a 13-2 run to take a 31-18 edge at halftime. The Bruins weren’t challenged the rest of the way, leading by as many as 27 en route to the win. UCLA shot 50% from the field, including six of 18 from three-point range, and forced 18 turnovers to offset 15 turnovers of their own. Amari Bailey led the Bruins with 24 points in the win.
