Once Upon A Time In Las Vegas – Super Bowl

Two traditional Big Ten basketball rivals will battle it out in Ann Arbor, MI on Saturday night as the Indiana Hoosiers visit the Michigan Wolverines. Meanwhile, the Wolverines remain one of the bigger disappointments thus far this season with a record of just 14-10 overall but are tied for second in the Big Ten standing with an 8-5 record. The opening tap for this game is scheduled for 6:00 PM EST.

The Indiana Hoosiers have seemingly survived a rough patch in January that resulted in a three-game losing streak and a 1-4 mark in the Big Ten at one point. Now, the Hoosiers have won seven of eight games, including a win over #1 Purdue, and are tied for second in the conference. On Tuesday night, the Hoosiers took down #24 Rutgers by the score of 66-60 in a defensive struggle. The win ended a six-game losing streak to the Scarlet Knights for Indiana. All-America candidate Trayce Jackson-Davis once again led the way with 20 points, 18 rebounds and six assists in the hard-fought win.

“It's very important,” senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis said about beating Rutgers for the first time in his career. “They're a tough team. They always bring it. They have a lot pieces.

“To finally get over that hump is big for us. We have to keep moving forward.”

The Hoosiers come into this matchup with the second best scoring offense in the Big Ten. They are also second in the conference in three-point shooting. The Hoosiers have struggled a bit with a lack of a true point guard in the starting roster and it reflects in the team's seventh rank in conference in turnovers. Defensively, Indiana ranks eighth in scoring defense in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers are eighth in three-point defense and are sixth in total rebounding.
