The New Mexico Lobos (19-5, 12-10-1 ATS, 14-8 O/U) meet with the Air Force Falcons (12-13, 15-10 ATS, 13-12 O/U) in an MWC bout on Friday evening. The Lobos lost a home clash against Nevada last time out. The Falcons dropped a home decision against Colorado State in their previous game. New Mexico collected an 81-73 home win against Air Force last month.

The New Mexico Lobos enter this one as a loser of three out of their last four games. They beat this Air Force squad late last month but have since lost back-to-back games. New Mexico lost 84-73 against Utah State and were 5.5 point favorites in a narrow 77-76 home loss against Nevada in their previous action to fall to 6-5 in MWC play. The Lobos have covered the spread in one of their last four games.

Jamal Mashburn Jr. is one of the best players in the conference. The junior guard has eclipsed 20 points in four out of his last five clashes and is sporting an average of 19.5 PPG on 45% shooting. Jaelen House is also a big scorer. The senior guard collected 19 points in the recent victory against Air Force and has recorded an average of 17.3 PPG. Morris Udeze is having a marvelous season. The senior forward has several double-doubles this season and has filed an average of 15.8 PPG and 8.7 RPG. 

The Lobos are ranked 47th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are a solid 4-3 on the road including a win against St. Mary’s. New Mexico has scored at least 76 points in eight of their last ten games and is posting an average of 81.8 points on the season, good for 16th. They are conceding an average of 71.7 points, placing them 240th in the country.
