The Suns roiled the overnight NBA futures markets on reports that they are acquiring Kevin Durant from the Nets.
According to ESPN, Phoenix is sending Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks and a 2028 pick swap to Brooklyn. The picks, in 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2029, are unprotected.
With Durant joining Devin Booker and Chris Paul, the Suns quickly moved from 18-1 to +450 at DraftKings Sportsbook, which puts them second behind only the Celtics (+350) as favorites to win the NBA title.
The NBA trading deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
