James Madison (JMU) vs. Georgia Southern Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-9-2023

We have a Sun Belt Conference NCAA Men’s Basketball game on Thursday evening between the James Madison Dukes and the Georgia Southern Eagles. The Dukes are dominating as they are 17-8 (8-4) right now and are riding a four-game winning streak after a 63-57 road win on Saturday against the Appalachian State Mountaineers. The Eagles are 12-13 (5-7) so far and are on a four-game losing streak after a 64-58 road loss on Saturday against the Old Dominion Monarchs.

The James Madison Dukes have been doing extremely well offensively this season as they are averaging 81.9 points while shooting an outstanding 47.5 percent from the floor. They should be passing the ball a little better than they are this season with 13.5 assists per game up to this point. Senior guard Vado Morse has been leading the way for the team as he is averaging 12.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 turnovers in 26.3 minutes per game.

Their defense has been doing pretty well as they are allowing 66.4 points per game so far this season. They are doing a great job at swiping the ball away as they are averaging 10 steals and 2.2 blocks. The Dukes need to use their size to their advantage throughout the game to be even better.
