The Drexel Dragons will travel to the OceanFirst Bank Center on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial Athletic Conference matchup to take on the Monmouth Hawks. The Hawks are a miserable 3-20 (2-8) right now and are riding a two-game winning stre ak after a 70-62 home win on Thursday against the Delaware Blue Hens. The Drexel Dragons have been doing pretty well and are coming off a 70-69 home win against the Charleston Cougars. They did well in the second half as they outscored the Cougars 43-34. They shot the ball at a terrible level from three as they were 24-of-50 (48 percent) overall, 2-of-15 (13.3 percent) from three, and 26 free-throw attempts. Junior guard Amari Williams led the team as in 27 minutes he finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, four blocks, and six turnovers. Defensively, they did a decent job as they allowed 41.9 percent from the floor and 21.7 from deep here. Drexel did well as they finished with five steals and four blocks throughout the game after forcing 10 turnovers.
