Alabama at LSU – 2/4/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Alabama Crimson Tide will head down to Baton Rouge to face the LSU Tigers in SEC play from the Pete Maravich Center. Alabama and LSU have a much richer history on the gridiron, but the Tide lead the all-time basketball series, 114-75, after winning six of the last seven games.

Alabama jumped to 19-3 after beating Vanderbilt at home. Bama held Vandy to just 15 first half points, and exploded after the break to pick up a 57-point win. Alabama scores 83.3 points per game, while allowing 68.7 ppg, and shooting 44.2%  from the floor.

Alabama responded to the lopsided loss to Oklahoma with a thumping defeat of Vanderbilt, and they look to build on that here against a struggling LSU team. The Crimson Tide are 9-3 in SEC play, with a 6-1 road record. Freshman forward Brandon Miller dropped 31 points in the first win over LSU, and he’s leading Bama in scoring (19.2), while grabbing 8.1 rpg. Noah Clowney starts alongside him in the front court, after double-doubling against Mizzou, leads the Tide in rebounding (8.4), while scoring 9.7 rpg. Ohio transfer Mark Sears is second on the team with 13.7 ppg.
