They have been without star guard Devin Booker for nearly six weeks due to a groin strain, and he is expected to miss this game as well before returning next week.

Booker is averaging a career-high 27.1 points in 29 games this season, with the team going 8-11 during his absence. The Suns trailed throughout their game against Atlanta on Wednesday, shooting just 4 of 28 from 3-point range. They also committed 16 turnovers that led to 31 points for Atlanta. Forward Miles Bridges scored a team-high 23 points for Phoenix, while Deandre Ayton added 20 points and nine rebounds. The Suns have not been a strong offensive team this season, ranked No. 21 in points per game (112.7). They are facing a Boston defense that is No. 8, allowing 112.0 points per contest.
