A pair of teams from the Ivy League take the floor in search of a victory on the hardwood in the Granite State. The Brown Bears are on the road as they make the trip to face off with the Dartmouth Big Green Friday night. Brown comes in off an 80-73 road loss to Cornell Saturday in their previous game though they did cover the line as a 7.5-point underdog. Dartmouth took down Columbia by an 83-73 margin at home in their last game Saturday, covering the line as an 8.5-point favorite in that contest. In the all-time series between the teams, the Bears own a 77-64 advantage and have taken six of the last seven meetings, including two straight. Brown took a 77-70 win at home in the first matchup this season on January 7.

Brown had won three of their previous four games before falling short on the road against Cornell in their previous game. The Bears dropped to 10-10 and stand tied for fifth in the Ivy League with a 3-4 mark. Against Cornell, Brown led by two after a tightly contested first half and hung tough most of the way. The Bears trailed by just two with three minutes remaining in regulation but went scoreless down the stretch to wind up with the loss. Brown shot 38% from the field, including 13 of 39 from three-point range, and lost the rebounding battle 45-40 in the game. Paxson Wojcik led the way for the Bears with 22 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

The Bears enter this game 276th in the nation in scoring offense with 68.1 points per game. Brown is 164th in the nation in rebounding with 35.4 boards a night and 105th in assists by dishing out 14.3 dimes a night. The Be ars have been above average on the defensive end, ranking 131st in scoring defense as they allow 67.8 points per game. Kino Lilly Jr. leads the team with 16.3 points plus 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists a night on the season. Paxson Wojcik contributes 13.3 points plus seven rebounds and 3.1 assists a night while Nana Owusu-Anane chips in 10.8 points plus eight rebounds a game. Kalu Anya, Dan Friday, Aaron Cooley, Perry Cowan, Kimo Ferrari and Malachi Ndur are also important contributors for the Bears on the offensive end. Brown shoots 43.8% from the field as a team on the year. The Bears knock down an average of 8.1 three-pointers a night while draining only 34.4% of their three-point attempts. Brown is a brutal team at the free throw line as they convert a measly 59.6% of their attempts on the season. That number is dead last in all of Division I.
