The Eastern Washington Eagles will head down to Northern California to meet the Sacramento State Hornets in Big Sky action from on ESPN+. Eastern Washington leads the all-time series, 42-15, after winning by three points in Cheney last month. 

Eastern Washington improved to 16-7 following a home win over Weber State. The Eagles held on to a small halftime lead, and held off the Wildcats for the four-point victory. EWU is scoring 75.9 points per game, while allowing 70.5 ppg, and shooting 49.1% from the floor.

Eastern Washington has been flawless since Christmas break, and the conference crown looks like it’s theirs for the taking. The Eagles are 10-0 in Big Sky play, with a 5-5 road record. Sophomore swingman Steele Venters scored a season-high 25 points in the first meeting over Sacramento, and he leads EWU in scoring at 15.2 ppg. Senior forward Angelo Allegri is coming off a season-best 28 points in the win over Weber, and he’s second on the team in scoring (13.1) and rebounding (5.6).
