Orlando Magic at Philadelphia 76ers – 2/1/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers duke it out once again at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night.

The Orlando Magic have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the 76ers in a 119-109 road win on Monday. Paolo Banchero led the team with 29 points with nine rebounds and three assists, Moritz Wagner added 22 points off the bench while Franz Wagner chipped in with 19 points. As a team, the Magic shot 42 percent from the field and 11 of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and managed just 17 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 21 points in the blink of an eye, but they never gave up and absolutely dominated the second half by 67-47 to run down the 76ers and escape with the statement win in the end.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been on fire lately as they’ve won 12 of their last 15 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their seven-game win streak snapped by the Magic in a 119-109 loss on Monday. Joel Embiid led the team with 30 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, Tobias Harris and James Harden each scored 17 points while Matisse Thybulle chipped in with 10 points off the bench. As a team, the 76ers shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they held the Magic to just 17 points in the first quarter to build a 19-point lead, but they never put the Magic away and just had no answer for them in the second half.
