No. 21 Indiana (15-6 SU, 10-10-1 ATS) travels to College Park to take on Maryland (14-7 SU, 14-7 ATS) on Tuesday night at 9pmET from Xfinity Center.

These teams met twice last season with the Hoosiers winning and covering both games. In the Big 10 standings, IU is 6-4whichi ties them with Illinois and Rutgers for third place. The Terps are 5-5, which ties them with Penn State and Iowa for sixth place.

Indiana is ranked 21st in the latest AP Poll, but more importantly, they are 20th in the latest NCAA Net rankings. The Hoosiers have won five straight after losing three straight, including an 86-70 win over Ohio State as a 4.5-point favorite on Jan. 28. Jalen Hood-Schifino led the way with 24 points on 6-of-9 from beyond the arc, while Trayce Jackson-Davis added 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. The Hoosiers went 10-of-20 from beyond the arc and held the Buckeyes to 26% (5-of-19) from long range.

There was some bad news as Jordan Geronimo (6-6, 220) did not play due to a leg injury. The junior forward averages 5.6 points and 3.2 rebounds on 54.4% shooting. He had 13 points and eight rebounds in an 80-65 win over Illinois on the road and 12 points with 11 rebounds in a 63-45 win over Wisconsin.

Indiana is shooting 50.3% from the field to rank fourth in the nation and 78.6 points per game (37th). They also shoot 38.4% from long range to rank 20th. They defend three-point shot fairly well (33.3%) and overall, are holding teams to 40.8% from the field (52nd).  Jackson-Davis leads the Hoosiers with 19.6 points per game and 10.7 rebounds with 3.2 blocks. Jackson-Davis should be the favorite to win Big 10 Player of the Year.
