The Dallas Mavericks (26-24; 17-31-2 ATS) snapped their two-game skid last Thursday. After a couple of home losses against the LA Clippers 112-98 and Washington Wizards 127-126, the Mavericks outlasted the Phoenix Suns 99-95 as 1-point road underdogs. Luka Doncic exited after just three minutes due to an ankle injury, so Spencer Dinwiddie led the charge for Dallas.
Dinwiddie dropped a season-high 36 points on Phoenix, going 10-for-18 from the field and 11-for-14 from the foul line. He also had nine assists and six rebounds. Dorian Finney-Smith notched 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Dwight Powell accounted for 15 points and three blocks.
“It's just an all-around great team effort,” Finney-Smith said. “Once we found out Luka was out, we just stepped up.”

Doncic’s X-rays came back clean, so Luka is listed as questionable to play Saturday in Salt Lake City. He’s been unstoppable so far this season, tallying 33.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per contest. The Mavericks will certainly miss Christian Wood (18.4 PPG, 8.4 RPG) due to a fractured thumb, and Maxi Kleber (6.2 PPG, 3.5 RPG) has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since mid-December.
