La Salle comes into this matchup on four-game losing streak but has a chance to complete the season sweep over URI after winning the first game by the score of 77-75 in overtime. On Tuesday night, the Explorers led by a point at halftime but could not hold it as Davidson came back for a 64-57 win. Daeshon Shepherd led La Salle with a career-high14 points in the loss. In all, the Explorers had four players in double figures for the game. Hassan Drame had 11 points, while Fouseyni Drame and Andres Marrero both had 10 points. La Salle shot just 34% from the field in the loss.

La Salle hopes to complete the season sweep of URI and jump the Rams in the A-10 standings. The Explorers are just 234th in the nation in scoring offense thus far. They have struggled to shoot the ball, ranking just 322nd in field goal percentage and 251st in 3pt field goal percentage. They are fifth in the conference in fewest turnovers this season.
