The Orlando Magic pay a visit to the Miami Heat at the FTX Arena on Friday night.
The Orlando Magic have been in decent form as they’ve won three of their last four games and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the struggling Pacers in a 126-120 win on Wednesday. Paolo Banchero led the team with 23 points, Gary Harris added 22 points on eight of nine shooting while Wendell Carter Jr. chipped in with 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. As a team, the Magic shot 56 percent from the field and 15 of 28 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 46 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before they held off a late run from the Pacers to escape with the narrow win.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight win after outlasting the Celtics in a 98-95 home win on Tuesday. Bam Adebayo led the team with 30 points and 15 rebounds on 12 of 22 shooting, Haywood Highsmith added 15 points with 10 rebounds off the bench while Max Strus chipped in with 13 points. As a team, the Heat shot just 36 percent from the field and 12 of 33 from the 3-point line as they scored just 18 points in the second quarter to trail for most of the game, before they won behind their defense, holding the Celtics to just 13 points in the fourth quarter to steal the game in the end.
