With two of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL set to square off this weekend, the NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles promises to be a good one. San Francisco will take its 12-game winning streak on the road to Philly, where the NFC's No. 1 seed awaits.
Here's a look at the best prop bets for the 49ers vs Eagles showdown, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook's'NFL odds.
49ers vs Eagles Playoff Prop Bets
1. Christian McCaffrey – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-130)
One of the most consistently profitable bets during the second half of the NFL season has been Christian McCaffrey's anytime touchdown wager. San Francisco's dual-threat RB has now scored in eight straight games and 10 of his last 12, finding the end zone with remarkable regularity. The 49ers have been leaning on him even more heavily since Jimmy Garoppolo went down and Kyle Shanahan is the master at drawing up plays to get McCaffrey into the end zone. With a Super Bowl trip on the line, expect another large dose of McCaffrey and another touchdown as well.
2. Brock Purdy Passing Yards – Under 216.5 (-114)
We finally saw Purdy come back to earth a bit last week, as he managed just 214 passing yards against the Dallas Cowboys and was held without a touchdown. Now he faces an even tougher test with higher stakes this weekend. Not only is he going on the road to a hostile environment in Philadelphia, but h e's also going up a defense that allowed the fewest passing yards per game in the NFL this year (179.8). Purdy's gone under this prop in two of his last three games and as good as he's been this season, he might struggle to crack 200 passing yards here.
3. Jalen Hurts – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125)
Hurts' arm hasn't been the most reliable this year, but his legs sure have been. That's been especially true in terms of his rushing touchdowns, as he now has 14 in 16 games this season (including eight in his last seven). Hurts clearly has a nose for the end zone and usually gets there once he breaks loose. With San Francisco allowing the fifth-fewest passing TDs this year, Hurts will look to punch it in himself if Philadelphia gets down near the goal line.
